Yang Yongliang, Wonderland

 Having studied traditional art with the famous artist Yang Yang, Yang Yongliang revolutionizes classical Chinese art. Yang Yongliang’s works revisit calligraphy and traditional ink painting while incorporating contemporary technology. His landscapes are composed by numerous photographs of skyscrapers, motorways or avenues symbolizing technical progress in China. He offers a view of China between tradition and modernity.
