Few of creative fields are sharing as many links as visual arts and music are sharing between them. Why should we, indeed, always choose, between Elvis or Duchamp, Botticelli or Sonic Youth, Kratwerk or Warhol, Matthew Barny or Debussy?... Some artists won’t decide it, or simply deny such choice, developing thus a double choice by performing either in music or art plastic. It is from a particular attention turned on works and specific practices that is born the Plastic Music Project. The original idea that led to the exhibition was to invite about twenty of those plasticians who will present their works from this double practice trough artworks, systems, installations, or specific displays, thought as many singular environments as sounds, visuals and also tactile.
