P.Nicolas Ledoux / Solo Show

After a show at the BF15 art center in Lyon last year and at the Casino art center in Luxembourg, P. Nicolas Ledoux presents for the first time in Paris pieces from the Ludovic Chemarin© project. Ludovic Chemarin is the so-called bankrupted artist bought back by Ledoux. Working fake artworks that exist for real, Ledoux creates an illusion that reintegrates the art market and cultural events.

All these works are put together as various paragraphs of a broader chapter. Through this exhibition P. Nicolas Ledoux with his guest Damien Béguet question the value of the signature and the act of the making art in a world disturbed by recession, a moral, financial, ontological crisis… He questions about what makes an Artwork out off the artwork.
P. Nicolas Ledoux also shows his diary made of small black and white photographs taken with his mobile phone during his visits of exhibitions, readings, cinema sessions or video game sessions.
