The Museum of Modern Art in New York presents the 26th edition of the exhibition “New Photography”, dedicated to emerging photographers. On this occasion twenty-two original plates from the series “Second History” of Zhang Dali is presented.
The Chinese artist is now at the forefront of the international contemporary scene. In April 2011, He launched his fifth exhibition “New Slogan” in New York, then in May, he took part of the event “Love and Hope” in Japan and Beijing to the earthquake in Japan. He is also present in the Danish pavilion at the Venice Biennale. Today, he’s celebrated next five other artists in this annual exhibition at MOMA. Zhand Dali’s career has evolved from graffiti to photography, the artists presents here a work based on archival footage of propaganda which served under Mao Tsé Tung.
