25 artists, 60 artworks and 5 exhibitions in different locations all around the world, starting now with Istanbul. This is what awaits the “La belle peinture est derrière nous” show ("Beautiful painting is behind us"). This exhibition is entirely dedicated to the French contemporary pictorial scene. Organised by the French Institute in Turkey and curated by Eva Hober, it is a showcase for young artists. Supported by Culturesfrance, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Agence Istanbul 2010, European capital for culture.
