Dalek is one of most astonishing emerging artist of the artistic Brooklyn scene. He paints his Space Monkeys, full with life and humour in spite of their cut down members and their perforated craniums.
The visual codes used by Shepard Fairey, aka Obey Giant, are worthy of those of Stalinist propaganda, but here they highlight the mechanisms of advertising propaganda which invade public space. In this show the two artists carried out a series common works : Dalek paints on Obey's posters.
